About Apolo

At Apolo, we’re building the future of secure, enterprise-ready AI.
We started with a mission to democratize AI infrastructure by empowering data centers and cloud providers to deliver GPU-as-a-Service at scale. Today, we take the next step with Apolo AI Launchpad.

Apolo AI Launchpad delivers pre-built, customizable AI applications for mid-market asset-heavy operators — data centers, manufacturers, builders, energy and oil & gas teams, financial services firms, and government agencies — and the private infrastructure those apps run on. Apolo AI Launchpad is the product. The infrastructure is the foundation beneath them.
Our story

Find out how we create the best solutions

Apolo’s journey began in Ukraine in 2019. Founded by a passionate group of machine learning engineers, our goal was simple: to create a platform that could efficiently orchestrate compute resources and machine learning tools, providing everything needed for effective ML development. When the war in Ukraine disrupted our operations, we resiliently moved our operations and team to the United States and Europe, giving the company a second life as Apolo. Backed by several leading venture capital firms and guided by the expertise of Bill Kleyman, Constantine Goltsev, and Uri Soroka, Apolo has emerged stronger and more determined than ever.

The Apolo Journey

Each stage of our history reflects our drive to innovate, adapt, and deliver. From our foundation in Ukraine to the global launch of Apolo AI Launchpad, we continue to push boundaries.
2019

Our Foundation

Apolo was founded in 2019 in Kyiv by machine learning engineers who had spent years building ML orchestration at scale. The first product was GPU infrastructure for teams who needed to keep their workloads off public cloud — regulated industries, sovereign buyers, operators with real-world constraints.
2020–2021

Our Start

Across its first two years, Apolo was adopted by ML teams throughout Eastern Europe, grew from three founders to 20+ engineers, and landed its first major deployment — a sovereign telco operating one of the region's largest data center footprints.
2022

Relocation

In 2022, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the team relocated operations to the United States and Europe. Business continuity stayed intact. Customers kept shipping. The engineering culture — operator-minded, low-drama, ship-what-works — moved with the team.
2024

VC Funding

2024 brought two seed rounds — the first led by PGV in February, the second in September — along with a product-level rebrand that positioned Apolo as a multi-tenant MLOps platform for data center operators. That foundation is what Apolo AI Launchpad was built on top of when it launched the following year.
2025

Apolo AI Launchpad

In 2025 we launched Apolo AI Launchpad, the formal catalog of pre-built AI apps, and shifted the go-to-market from infrastructure-first to apps-first.

Today Apolo serves operators across data centers, manufacturing, construction, energy, oil & gas, financial services, and government — and the team spans the United States, Europe, and Ukraine.
